Party time!

While she isn't officially three years old, we celebrated our little one's birthday Saturday afternoon. She was so excited when we told her that the day had finally come for her birthday party. We chose a "Curious George" theme as it seems to be her most favorite show and character. She loved her George balloons, tablecloth, plates, and hats.

While preparing for the busy day, she happened to discover her wrapped (thank goodness!) presents hiding in the top of the closet. She thought she would be able to push her little chair over there and get them down. We were quite tickled and had to grab the camera. (and yes, my closet is a disaster zone!)

After that, her daddy took her to play at the gymnastics fun zone for a while so I could get all the preparations taken care of. When she came back home we were ready and she was thrilled. She was a bit short on sleep but still managed to laugh and smile the rest of the day. She loved opening her gifts and quickly caught on to the fact that there were MORE. She kept asking for the next one, ha ha. She got the new Curious George 2 movie, a Curious George stuffed animal, a classic sit-and-spin, some play food, Candy Land game and a Bingo game too, some doll accessories, and more. We are having lots of fun with new things to keep us busy.

All in all, I'd say birthday party #3 was a success.
