As I posted in my twitter, April began bright and early in this house today. A little before 5:30 this morning. "It's morning time! Time to get up! Let's eat breakfast mama!" Oh wow... I was worried about how this day would go. But it turned out to be an amazing day. We spread a blanket out in the backyard and I was able to do some knitting in the shade as she played in the gorgeous sunshine. We blew bubbles and chased butterflies and ran around barefoot. We had some ice cream and drew with sidewalk chalk. The skies were blue and clear. The trees are blooming and so pretty. I really wanted to freeze this day in time and just enjoy it longer. Or bottle it up for a rainy day. Anything to not forgot how beautiful such simple moments can be.

Hello April
