Ribbon Day!

Today was ribbon day at preschool gymnastics. And for my little one, it was a bit of a graduation day too as she will now be moving up to the three-year-old class, which means no more mommy or daddy to keep up with her!! Is she really ready?? Yikes! We've had 3 different teachers tell us that she is so I guess so. We are excited to see how she does.

In her *almost* 2 years of classes she has mastered forward rolls and lots of climbing and jumping. She can do the V-sit, as if it is just easy as pie to sit there with her legs perfectly posed. You don't want to know how many times I've tried to do this, ha ha. It is harder than it looks!

She can do a "table-top" (the precedent to the back bend which they don't start till after age 4) and can even do one on this apparatus.. no clue what it's called. And climbing walls? Oh yes, she can certainly climb walls.

And perhaps the trickiest maneuver, she can do a basket hang on the trapeze quite well. I can't imagine being that flexible! Crazy isn't it?

It's been a fun experience and we are so glad we could give this to her. We'll continue to see how much she likes it in the new term!
